unless you like being chased by monsters all the time

i think the most interesting thing ive done is search for a ley line

first it was with my friend, whelk, whose family lost all their money and thought the ley line would give him a way to get it all back

[ which noah didn't particularly enjoy, in the end ]

but he gave up. and then my friend, gansey - he's here too - he's looking for an old welsh king called Glendower. he thinks the ley line might be connected to that. a few of us decided to help him

i honestly don't know much about ley lines
they're not big factors for the greek gods
but that sounds pretty cool.
is it a handy ability?

it sort of works on its own terms
it's as though the lines have their own personality or something
but it's come in handy so far, for a lot of things
though we still haven't found glendower

but these ley lines help you find stuff
other than glendower or whatever

most of the time
sometimes it just likes to confuse us

that's a shame

yeah. i think we would have finished already if we could control it
as it stands, my friend adam, he's got a connection to it but it controls him more than anything. sends him visions with demands and stuff. it's all really weird
